Flight
Breakfast
July 4th at the Estherville Airport |

One of the
longest running Flight Breakfasts in Iowa is
held at the Estherville Airport on July 4th
every year. All that attend enjoy
pancakes, sausage, airplane displays, air
games, and entertainment. Many come out to
see the fly-in planes and pilots, get a
plane ride, or to see the watch drop. Fly-In
Pilots get a free breakfast! The Chamber,
Estherville service organizations, and
various businesses in the area come together
to make this event happen every year from 7
AM to 11 AM. |

Chuck Wagon
Day

Chuck Wagon Day is a spectacular customer
appreciation event for the community.
Participating businesses give out thousands
of hot dos with special toppings as a thank
you to customers. Other activities are
planned in conjunction with this event
including a hot dog eating contest. |

Fair

The Emmet County Fair, held the last full
weekend in July, includes livestock
exhibits, 4-H displays and activities, kid’s
day, commercial displays and more!

Sweet Corn
Days
Held the first weekend in

This event celebrates Iowa’s premier
crop-CORN! Estherville Sweet Corn Days is
the festival to end all festivals. The
celebration includes free sweet corn, a
large parade, car show, cruise night,
children’s games, a sweet corn recipe cook
off, golf tournament, a street dance, craft
fair, talent show, a variety of food
vendors, and a whole lot more! |

Relay for Life cancer fundraiser– from
raffles to entertainment to games for the
kids! You don’t want to miss out on this
inspiring event– Emmet County has raised
record breaking amounts of money for cancer

This event showcases living window displays,
carolers strolling the streets, Santa Claus,
a live nativity in historic library square,
and a festival of trees. This winter event
surrounds the downtown business community
with Holiday spirit. |
