4th of July Flight Breakfast

This long running Estherville tradition is held at the Estherville Airport each 4th of July morning from 7am to 11am! Delicious pancakes, sausages and eggs are made by volunteers right in front of you! Kids can get their face painted, get a pony ride and even get temporary tattoos. SWEET CORN DAYS

Sweet Corn Days is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary in 2023! This 4 day event includes entertainment, food vendors, a vendor fair, huge parade, inflatables, free sweet corn, car show, water fights, tournaments, concert, fireworks and so much more! Join us in Estherville for the biggest event of the year Thursday, August 3rd through Sunday, August 6th!

DOWNTOWN MARKET

The Estherville Downtown Market is a great place to purchase homemade craft items, baked goods, fresh produce and more! The Market Runs Thursday evenings from 4:30pm to 6:30pm June 1st through September 28th and Saturday Mornings from 9am to noon July2nd through September 30th in Library Square for 2023!

FRIGHT HIKE

Fright Hike is held annually the Saturday prior to Halloween in Fort Defiance State Park. This haunted hike through the woods is fun for all ages! $8 per person to take this scary jaunt. A very unique haunted experience that can't be found anywhere else in NW Iowa!

HAPPY HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS & EVENTS

Holiday in the Ville kicks off the Holiday Season in Estherville every year the Thursday before Thanksgiving! The evening is fun and magical and great for the whole family! The Chocolate Walk starts the night with sales and treats, horse drawn wagon rides around the square are sure to get you in the holiday spirit. The Parade of Lights is a short but sweet parade full of beautiful lit floats. Following the Parade bring the kids to Library Square where they can meet with Santa and use the magic of Christmas to light up the night and the giant tree!
The Thursday after Thanksgiving every year is a magical evening in Estherville! Carolers and tubas fill the air. TUBACHRISTMAS has participants from all over the area perform your favorite holiday carols!
