THURSDAY AUGUST 3rd
4:30 - 6:30pm Downtown Market
5pm Bags Tournament - Estherville Golf Course $20 Team Entry Fee. Cash Prizes!
5-6pm Author Event - Estherville Public Library. Meet a variety of authors during this free event.
5:30pm Presentation of the Flames and Opening Ceremony - Hosted by Excel Arts and Culture in Library Square
5:35pm Burning of the Cobs - Library Square
5:45-6:30pm FREE Smore's roast them yourself over a bonfire! Library Square
6:30pm Kids Fishing Competition - Riverside Park - Swinging Bridge - Children 15 and under. All kids must be accompanied by an adult! Bring your own poles and equipment. 


FRIDAY AUGUST 4th

1pm:Sweet Corn Days Golf Tournament 4 person Scramble tournament with 1pm shotgun start! $50 per person or $60 with a cart prizes including a Taylor Made Custom Driver, 2 top of the line putters and a gun, giveaways and free keg beer and appetizers! Hosted by Jacobson-Westergard call 712-362-2647 with questions

6-8pm Hometown Heroes - Touch a Truck. North 6th Street. Meet your hometown heroes and tour their trucks! 
6-8pm Kids Peddle Pull - Sanctioned peddle pull with age categories! Free to all children. Hosted by Sun City
6:30pm Kids Games: FREE to all kids, Old fashioned games divided up by age categories. Hosted by Employees Credit Union
7:45pm Minute to Win It - Center Stage. Do you have what it takes to win it? fun audience participation games!
8:45pm Hula Hoop Show Down: We've got the hoops ready! Categories for all ages! Prizes for winners
 After dark/9:30pm FIREWORKS: brought to you by NorthStar Bank and Agency! 
After Fireworks/approximately 10pm Family movie in the park! Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and settle in for Super Mario Bros with the family in Library Square!

10am-4pm Merchant Market! Vendors selling all types of goods including handmade crafts! Located on the Court House Square

10:30am Parade: runs along Central Avenue from 18th street to 5th street. Bring some lawn chairs and check out the biggest parade in NW Iowa! Sponsored by Estherville Communications!
           - Float Decorating Competition - Design the best float for a chance to win $100, $75 or $25!
 All Day Food Vendors:Food includes: Kettle Corn, Cheesecake, Cupcakes, BBQ, grilled food, fried food, hot dogs, pie, snow cones, mini donuts and so much more! Located on 7th Street!
 Following parade FREE SWEETCORN! Over 6,000 ears of corn are given out! Located on 1st Avenue N. Sponsored by Avera Holy Family Hospital!
 12 - 3p Rock'n the Square - bring a lawn chair or find a picnic table and enjoy live music!
m12-4p Sweet Cars Show: 
Black Knights Car Club show off the sweetest cars around! Located on 1st Ave N and N 8th Street!
m12-4p Inflatable Fun! 7 huge inflatables for all ages! Only $15 for an all day play wristband! Located on N 6th Street
m12-2:30p with a 1:30pm show on center stage, Mr. Twister: Free balloon animals for the kids plus an entertaining show on Center Stage!
m12-4pmFace Painting - $5 per design by a professional artist. Library Square
 12-4p IZAAK Walton 5 Stand Sporting Clays - Come and Go. Located at IZAAK Walton, $15 for 50 rounds prizes for both youth and adults
m12-4pmRock Wall - Free climbing wall hosted by the Iowa Army National Guard
 1p Firefighter Water Competition: Watch the fireman compete in this fun contest! Located on N 7th Street
m2pmSidewalk Chalk Contest - South section of Library Square. Age categories of 8 and under, 9-14 and 15 and up includes adults! Pre-registration encouraged but not required. Prizes for winners. Chalk supplied but welcome to bring your own. 
 3p Golf Ball Race - Corner of 1st Avenue North and North 6th Street, buy your golf ball for $10, 600 golf balls will roll down the hill the first place wins $1000 cash, second place wins $500 cash, third through seventh place wins $100 cash. Do not need to be present to win! (Purchase Golf Balls at the Chamber office or tent prior to the race) m4pm -Mud Volleyball Tournament hosted by the Estherville Fire Department. Teams of 6 play round robin style in Joe Hoye Park at the Swinging Bridge.

 9pm-1am Street Dance, Live Band, Pop Rocks, playing your favorites from past and present! 21+ for beer but ages 19-20 allowed entry! $5 cover charge! Food Vendors available during the Street Dance! 

SUNDAY AUGUST 6th


9am-noon Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast. Located in the Duhigg Center
10am Disc Golf Throwdown - 9-9:45am registration. Free kid's/amateur's 9 hole tournament with prizes. Pro-division $30 entry fee, 18 hole tournament with cash prizes. Half of proceeds will go to course expansion. Joe Hoye Park Frisbee Golf Course.
​11am Worship Service in the Park, hosted by multiple Estherville Churches. Located in Library Square. Bring a lawn chair. 
1pm Des Moines River Fun Float: Drop boats at A17 Bridge Access. Park at 4th Street Bridge Access. Bus available to take you to the start for a small fee. Boats launch at 1pm. Free will donation dinner at the end of float. Please use caution and float at your own risk. Must provide your own boat/float. Hosted by the Emmet County Water Trails Association!

12-8pm Free Swim & Pool Party - Estherville Aquatic Center. Your chance to check out Estherville's BRAND NEW outdoor pool at no cost! Slide down the big water slide, give the rock walls a climb and so much more! Concessions available for purchase. 
2pm Ping Pong Tournament - Regional Wellness Center. Pre-register between noon and 1:30pm. Singles and doubles divisions - no registration fee
