Grants Available through Excel: 
Façade Grant - This matching grant of up to $10,000 is available to building owners and businesses looking to update and beautify the exterior façade of their building.
Second Story Window Grant - This matching grant is available to building owners for the purpose of putting new windows in the second story of their building. 
New Business Interior Remodel Grant - This matching grant of up to $10,000 is available to NEW or expanding businesses looking to remodel the interior of their building. 

Grants Available through the Chamber:
Tourism Grant - Available to those hosting an event that will draw people to Estherville. Allowed expenditures include but are not limited to marketing, space rental, equipment and materials, staff and insurance. 

Grants Available through EAPG:
Lifestyle Business Incentive - Grant is available to those purchasing an existing lifestyle business in Estherville.

EXCEL! ESTHERVILLE FACADE GRANTS

​- Program assists business owners -

The Excel Estherville storefront façade improvement project awards matching grants of up to $10,000 to storefront owners in the Estherville business district that want to "change-up" the look of their property.


Business owners have been taking advantage of the program for the past two years, and it's making Estherville a better place to live. Anyone interested in the project may contact any Excel board member, the Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce at 362-3541 or Penny Clayton at Estherville City Hall.
